Rockin’ the Hall of Fame in Cleveland
Hey Cleveland! Great city. Had a great time at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony last weekend. There was no way I was missin’ it this year with The Beastie Boys being inducted. One of my favorite groups of all time. In fact, I blasted “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party)” my last day at the office. Anyway, Chuck D presented the Boys their award – nice added bonus. Also got to see Guns N’ Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers too. Classic bands. Talk about a room full of talent! Seeing these guys – legends really — was exactly what I needed. I’m so fueled up now. Ready to push my music to the limit. Got my new Taylor, but lately I’ve been working on a hip hop track in the studio with my man, Blaze. We’ve got a single comin’ out that I think you guys will love. Without giving it away…. ‘Strawberry’ is part of the song title.

Walk Like An Egyptian And Off The Stage
Did anyone else catch The Voice this week? I admit it, I did watch. Thankfully Jessie J rocked us all with Domino as it was not the best week for performances, by far. OK, let’s just get right to what everyone is freaking out about. What the heck was with Erin Martin’s “Walk Like An Egyptian” performance? I wonder what The Bangles are thinking after that horror of a cover. Seriously. And Karla Davis doing “Airplanes”? Talk about a surprise. Just when I was kinda feelin’ her do her country thing, she pulls this. But I gotta give her props for attempting a hip hop song. Now Mathai sounded great – did you hear that acapella intro? Sweet. Anyway, so I’m not surprised that Erin got voted off after that performance, even given her cool sound. Seriously, I should be a judge on this show. I’d be more honest than Cee-Lo, that’s for sure. Just ask Ike. I always spoke the true word with him but those softy arteest types can’t always take the heat. But it’s who I am and I’m not changin’.

Here’s the deal
Heard about Ike and me splitting up? Yeah, it’s true. We just don’t agree on the candy. My red, his red, my lime, his lime, my box ideas, his box ideas. So over it. Instead of all this hassle, now I’m just gonna jam. Been laying down heat with my friend Blaze. Planning to hit all the music capitals in the next few months. No sitting at home solo playing Words With Friends (that’s something Ike would do). No joke, I do still love MIKE AND IKE® candy. Haven’t forgotten that it’s still my name on that box (even if it’s scratched out on some). Ike, get over it my friend. You’ll always be my bud, but I just stopped getting you ever since you stopped focusing on the candy. Time to move on. Check out my blog. I can’t wait to share with you all the stuff I have in mind – sick music festivals, dope new songs, a music video…. So follow me right here on my blog and you won’t miss a beat. The company will make the candy – I’m sure of that. I mean, it’s great candy! Even though I’m off rocking and rapping, let’s all keep downing MIKE AND IKE® candies. I know I will.
